Hey all,

We got Little Big Planet for the PS3 a couple of weeks ago, and I have been loving it ever since. It is definitely in my top five favorite games. The story mode was cool, but what really makes this game fly is the create and share mode. You want to create a Christmas themed level where elves have to fight against atheist snowflakes? No problem. Want to recreate a Mario level? Sure. Want to just make a rocket that flies to the moon? Why not.

I've been having so much fun with this, along with my husband Christopher. You can see the fruits of our combined labor here. Chris did the designing of the mechanical parts of the level, like the enemies and obstacles, and I did the artistic design.

I might start utilizing this journal to show off cool levels that I find, but it all depends on how motivated I feel.

How long has it been since I wrote anything on here?  Probably forever.  I won't even justify it with a look.

I could make a whole bunch of excuses, like school, moving, wedding plans, and whatnot, but I'll be frank:  I just haven't wrote any fanfic, made any cool new wallpapers, or had any exciting news I felt like I should share on the internets.  I have been busy making Killer Bunny cards, which you can find on my DA site.

In other Sami-news, my wedding is coming up in two weeks.  That is just so crazy and alien to me.  I know I've been preparing for it for the last year, but now it's actually going to happen.  That's crazy.  I'm not just making wedding programs and trying on pretty dresses for my own delights; it's actually culminating into something.  Whoa.

I also moved into my first apartment last month.  That has been a whole new experience for me, including a lot of weepy eyes since I was such a lamey-lameo homebody.  It was tough moving away from my family because we are pretty close, but I still got to see them a lot because I had to come home to do wedding planning and whatnot.  My brother is visiting me next week, so that should be fun.

More breaking news!  I finally got a job after a months' worth of searching.  I applied the hell out of Stevens Point, but came up with a pretty good one.  I get to move files around all day, but it's as fun as any of my jobs will ever be.  It's better than being a cheese slave at a factory, even if it pays less.

This is my last week free before I start working at the Cheese Hole and my life is done for the summer.  Well, maybe it won't be that bad this summer.  We'll see.

Currently, I'm working on a request for trek_grrl and have finally found the screen cap I want.  I just got the fifth season in the mail yesterday, and I was a screen capping fool this morning.  Hopefully it'll be done soon.

I just wanted to get in one journal post to try these babies out before I decide to put up a fic.  It's been a long time since I've actually been able to finish any fanfiction (mostly my laziness gets in the way), but I've been chugging along pretty well in a Scrubs fic.  Of course, I'm having a bit of writer's block right now, so it's iffy when or if I'll every actually finish it.  In the meantime, I do plan on putting up some other stuff.  I have at least one short fic that's already done.

I'm still a newb, so sorry for any mistakes!
